Chesapeake Bay fisheries, derelict fishing gear, fisheries ecosystem modeling
Research Focus
My work involves assisting with the standardization and analyses of data collected by participants in CCRM's Nationwide Trap Program, a coordinated effort to support organizations across the nation in conducting removal programs for derelict trap fishing gear. Broad interests include cryptic fishing mortality, fisheries ecosystem models to inform ecosystem-based fisheries management, and collection of shallow-water bathymetry data via participatory science.
