Important dates for new students
1 June 2024	Deadline for New Student Health Evaluation Forms (grace period extended through August 31st). Requirement applies only to full-time students.
15 June 2024	Deadline for International Student Requests for I-20's and Student Visas
31 July 2024	Deadline for W&M-sponsored Student Health Insurance Enrollment and Waivers. Required for all full-time students; part-time students must submit a part-time student status form to be exempt from the insurance requirement.
1 August 2024	New Student Registration Begins
9 August 2024	Deadline for Photo Submission for W&M Student ID Card.
Mid-August 2024	International New Student Orientation at W&M
25 August 2024	Graduate Assistantship Start Date Last day to provide original I-9 verification documents to Academic Affairs Finance & Program Administrator
26-27 August 2024	New Student Orientation at VIMS Required for all students
28 August 2024	First Day of Fall Classes
13-15 September 2024	New Student Trip to the Eastern Shore Lab Required for all students
